Two years ago when the pandemic was making businesses struggle, I was not sure about keeping my retail property or selling it. I did not give it up despite the low rental yield and suddenly it turned out to be my biggest investment. The large format retail property was in high demand because of the safety and space offered by the real estate. Also, it was able to give tenants the right repurpose the unused space and make the customers stay back in the store.
